Ready for the Real World is a scholarship program rewarding community service.
Ready for the Real World is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was founded in Hawaii. This organization offers scholarships to students wanting to further their education. We also have grants available for students to do volunteer work abroad.
Ready for the Real World began in 2005 when Jalee Fuselier Palompo started a reading and mentoring program for at-risk youth in her hometown on the North Shore of Oahu. Since then, she has worked with hundreds of young people getting them involved in serving their communities.
Ready for the Real World became a corporation in 2009 and has since expanded into a scholarship program to reward volunteering.
This site gives you the resources and tools to find volunteer opportunities and apply for scholarship awards.
